CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVOLVEMENT

• USGenWeb Tombstone Transcription Project - make listings of inscriptions on gravestones in Somerset County cemeteries. See the Somerset County Cemetery Project for preferred format. Please contact Shari Handley, County Coordinator, to sign up for one or more cemeteries.
• Letters & Written Artifacts - Do you have old letters, diaries, newspaper articles, Bible records, or other written artifacts? If you'd like to share them, type them up as a plain text file (*.txt), and send them as an email message or file attachment, to Shari Handley.
• Miscellaneous - Birth, death or marriage records, census transcriptions, deeds, wills, court records, family Bible records, etc., etc., etc. We're limited only by our imagination! If you have an idea for something that we could add to the Somerset site that would be of benefit to area researchers, please contact Shari Handley. This kind of data is used on the Somerset site in conjunction with the USGenWeb Archives Project.
