TRANSCRIBING DATA
If transcribing data for the MDGenWeb Archives is more your speed, just let us know and we'll point you in the right direction. Almost any kind of historical record has value to the genealogical researcher, and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you've made an important contribution to bolster the lofty ideal of making genealogical data freely available to researchers via the Internet. *smile*
The MDGenWeb Project is currently seeking volunteers to transcribe collections of material, such as newspaper abstracts, census records, tax lists, cemeteries, church records collections, and other data collection projects.
Note: If you have individual transcribed items to donate, such as one will, one family Bible, or other small, individual records, please see the USGenWeb Archives' How To Submit Files page. Thanks!
