Priscilla Ann Matilda Jane EVANS was my 3x great grandmother. She was born 11 Dec 1823, reportedly in Spring Hill, Wicomico County. 11 Jun 1844, she married Washington Hughes Robertson. Their children:

I have been unable to pin down who her parents were. I'm not certain about Spring Hill being her place of birth, but, certainly, she was likely born somewhere on the Lower Shore. She signed my great grandmother's (Carrie Robertson Mezick) "PAMJR", so she really did have 3 middle names!
A John EVANS and wife Esther DOUGHERTY / DOUGHTY / DOROTHY who married in Somerset County in 1818 who are an interesting possibility. A researcher's tree on ancestry named her parents as Nicholas EVANS and Priscilla "Prissee" GILLISS, but I have ruled that out because the time frame doesn't fit. Nicholas was deceased by around 1800 and Prissee was also gone before my Priscilla was born in 1823. The 1830 Somerset County census is missing, which is unfortunate.
