- Wicomico Public Libraries Local history and genealogy books, directories, church histories, maps, newspaper indexes, military materials, and genealogy databases. - Maryland Estate Search Search Maryland probate estate information online. Useful for locating an estate before requesting or reviewing the underlying probate file.
- Maryland Land Records (MDLandRec) Free online images of Maryland land records presented by the Maryland State Archives and Circuit Court clerks. Wicomico land records begin with the county’s creation in 1867; earlier deeds may be in Somerset or Worcester County.
- Maryland Plats Online access to recorded plats and surveys. Plats can be especially useful for locating family land, subdivisions, roads, waterways, adjoining owners, and changes in property boundaries.
- Maryland Division of Vital Records Certified Maryland birth, death, marriage, and other vital records within the periods handled by the Division. The Baltimore lobby at 6764B Reisterstown Road is by appointment only; check the current site for eligibility, ordering methods, and record coverage.
