TAYLOR-PHILLIPS-LANGSDALE FAMILY GRAVEYARD

This graveyard was recorded by Betty Brinsfield Hughson and her sister-in-law Margret Adkins Brinsfield in May of 1977. When Betty submitted them to the WCP, she commented, "We found this small graveyard because we stopped at a farmhouse to ask about what we thought was a gravestone out in the middle of a field. It was only a post, but we were sent to Mr. A. E. Parker's. The graveyard was in back of the house by a chicken yard. The property is on the Athol Road between Quantico and Hebron in Wicomico County. (I remember that there were briars and other plants in the area)."

TAYLOR, John W. W., son of John W. & Mary W. Taylor was born Dec 2, 1830 and died Aug't 9th 1838, aged 1 year 7 mos & 16 days.

PHILLIPS, Elizabeth M. Consort of Jonathan Phillips died August 19th 1836 aged 31 years 1 month 24 days.

PHILLIPS, Samuel W. August 2nd 184? aged 17 years 5 (?) months & 21 days.

PHILLIPS, Jonathan B. d. December 13th 1837, aged 44 years 7 months & 10 days.

TAYLOR, Anna, d. January 4, 1846, aged 61 years 10 months & 6 days.

TAYLOR, John of William, July 11th 1843, aged 72 years 7 months & 17 days.

LANGSDALE, Henry J. b. Feb 8, 1835, d. June 2, 1890, aged 55 yrs 3 mos & 22 ds.

LANGSDALE, Maud T., beloved dau of Henry J. & Annie M. Langsdale, b. Aug 11th 1874, d. June 5th 1876, aged 3 mos 25 dys.

LANGSDALE, Levin F., son of Henry J. & Annie M. Langsdale, March 28, 1866, April 22, 1899.

TAYLOR, William W., son of John W. & Mary W. Taylor, b. March 4, 1852, departed this life with malignant scarlet fever December 5, 1857, aged 5 years 9 mo & 1 day.
