Harriet,
consort of
Isaac Newman
who departed this life
March 30th 1847:
in the 47th year of her age.

In memory of the departed dead;
I raise this tomb to mark thy bed.
Bring the last tribute, thy Son can show;
To thee, unconscious of his woe.
Rest thee, forever rest in peace.
With thee thy trouble all to cease,
Beyond the grave I know thou'lt be,
With God through all eternity.
Farewell, farewell, I cannot stay.
My Saviour's call I must obey.
Now in his arms I go to dwell,
and happy say to all farewell.

In Memory of
Eleanor A. R.
wife of
John C. Horsey,
who departed this life
March 13th 1844
aged 16 years, 11 months & 8 days

A much lamented dust that sleepeth here
Poured from my bleeding heart in my life's noon day
Thy virtues fair demand the indebted tear
Thy once loved tender husband doomed to pay.
Weep not for me my mother dear.
To grieve it is in vain.
Christ is my hope, you need not fear
We all shall meet again.
