Milligan Family Graveyard overlooking the Manokin River. Click the photograph to enlarge.
This family graveyard is on private property in Revell’s Neck, on a hill overlooking the Manokin River. Fred Howard described it as an old burial ground for several long-established Revell’s Neck families, including the Milligans, McDormans, and Bosmans.
The cemetery had once been part of a cow pasture. Howard noted that some stones were already down or missing, while the graveyard itself had been cleared and landscaped.

Cemetery and Research Notes
The original contributed transcription spelled the cemetery name “Milliagan” in several places; the SCP uses Milligan Family Graveyard as the primary name and preserves the older spelling as an alternate.
The photographs add a modern Revolutionary War patriot marker for Capt. Isaac Milligan and a later marker for Eli Hanson McDorman.
