This historic burial ground is associated with the Workington plantation house, which the survey attributes to Henry and Elizabeth Wilson Jackson in 1793. The property was described in the 1798 tax list as comprising Mount Ephraim and Mother’s Care.

The field survey describes two burials within the plot, only one with a marked headstone, in an agricultural field near Back Creek, a branch of the Manokin River.
