Located in Hungary Neck (also called Mt. Vernon) near the John Murry Farm on Whitehaven Ferry Road, near the intersection of Bobtown Road. The grave is on a small hill about 100 feet west of the road in an arable field.

The contributor placed the grave near the home of I. Austin on the 1877 Atlas of the Eastern Shore.

Cemetery and Research Notes

Philip L. Goldsborough transcribed the marker on May 31, 2004, from photographs taken by Ed Smith in March 2004. Goldsborough wrote that he and Smith found the site in good condition and well maintained by Mr. Murry, with no evidence of other burials in the plot.
