In the name of God Amen I William Morgan of Somerset County in ye. Province of Maryland wheelright being Sick and weak in body but of perfect Mind and Memory doe make this my Last will and Testament this Twenty fifth day of March in the year of our Lord god One thousand Six hundred Seventy and five in Manner and form following yr my soul I give unto god that gave it and my body to the Earth and for my worldly goods and Possessions after my Legall Debts are paid I will and bequeath the as followeth Vzt. ~~~ Imprs. I will and bequeath unto my Loveing friend Joseph Taylor foure hundred pounds of tobacco ~~~ I will and bequeath unto my Loveing Friend John Covan all my working Tools ~~~ I will and bequeath all my Lands and other worldly goods unto Thomas Walker of Somerset County, gent. The which Thomas Walker I doe hereby make my absolute & sole Executx. ~~~ In witness whereof that this is my Last will and Testament I do hereunto put my hand & fixe my seale the day & year above Said ~~~ Signed & Sealed in the Presence of his Edm: Beauchamp William WM Morgan {Seale} George Hasfurt mark By virtue of a Commission to me directed by the Judge & Commissary Genall. on testamentary business, the within written will of William Morgan was the xxxist. Day of August 1675. By the Oaths of Edmund Beauchamp & George Hasfurt in Common forme proved before me ~~~ Will Stevens WS By virtue of a Commission to me directed by the Judge & Commissary Genall. on testamentary business I have taken the Oaths of William Planner & Charles Hall appraisers appoynted of the goods and Chattles of William Morgan Late of Somerset County deceased to Make a true and Just appraisement, so far forth as they should come to there sight or knowledge, this Done in Common forme the xxxist. day of August 1675. in Testimony Whereof have put to my hand & Seal~~~ ____ Will Stevens WS {Seal} Recorded in Liber EB No. 5 folio 103. ~~~ Test.
