In the name of God Amen I Thomas Wilson of Wicomico in Somerset County in the province of Maryland, Planter, being very ill and indesposed in body but of aged and perfect memory, praise be Almighty god doe make and ordain and constitute this my last will and testament in manner and form following Viz._____ Imp. First I give soul to god that gave it and my body to be burried by the discretion of my Executrix, hereafter named In sure and certain hopes, that by and through the merits Jesus Christ to enjoy a blessed resurrection. And as for my reall and personall Estate, I give and bequeath as followeth (gr)_______ 2ndly I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth the plantation where I now live containing, the two hundred acres more or less and called by the name of Might have had more to her and to heirs forever________ _______ _________ Item I give and bequeath unto the girle that now liveth with me, called Hannah One cow and a calf by her side with her whole and singular her increase to her the sd. Hannah and to her heirs forever and to be delivered to the said Hannah or her heirs or to her used within twelve months after my decease.______ ______ Item I give and bequeath all the rest of my Estate both reall and personall moveables and unmoveables both with in doors and with out To my loving wife Alice Wilson and to my sd. Daughter Elizabeth Wilson be equally divided between them within twelve months after my decease, after my funerall expenses and my debts are discharged______ Item I do appoint and ordain my loving wife Alice Wilson my sole and only Executrix of this my last will and testament and doe Appoint upon request my two well beloved friends Alexander Thomas and Richard Crockett to be overseers to look and oversee this my last will and testament. Performed in ord. In confirmation and full assurance of the truth above written I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this three and twentieth day of July, One thousand six hundred Eighty and eight Signed sealed delivered and declared Is my last will and testament in the Presence of us_______ Thomas Willson {seale} Ed. Day ~ The mark of Thomas [ I ] Coalmen Edward D. Fover Sampson Power____ This above written will was proved [????] Wicomico in the County of Somerset above said by the oaths of Thomas Coalmen Edward Fowler and Sampson Power November the first 1688. Edward Day one of the witnesses refuse to swear but said affirm with the said Signed sealed and delivered and as the Last Will of Thomas Willson, at the same time Alice Wilson the Executrix Sworne and James Dashiell and Daniell Hast sworne appr. Before me._____ Signed Wm. Briueton {Seale} Memorandum that whereas my wife Alice Wilson withen mentioned is now with child I give and bequeath unto the said child is a son, All my land within mentioned to his and his heirs forever if a Daughter to equally divided between my Daughter Elizabeth and the said daughter any thing in my this will to the contrary notwithstanding and I doe hereby ratify this as a schedule to this my last will and testament as witness my hand the second day of August 1688_____ Testis: John Huett Tho.
