Transcription
In the name of god and god name Amen first I bequeath my soul to god that
gave it and my body to be decently said in the earth My son Thomas Osborn
and my son Samuel Osborn. I do freely legacy all my land to be Equally
devided between them ______ All my female of my cattle to be Equally
decided between my wife and my four children ______
I bequeath my two guns the one to my Tomas Osborn and the other to my son
Samuel Osborn, Jr. I bequeath my White horse to my Wife Elizabeth Osborn
and My other horse for the use of the plantation, ~
It is my will and desire that my three sons shall be free at the age of
Eighteen years old and all their Cattle to be delivered them as they come
of age ~
I do Make my Wife Elizabeth Osborn my whole Executrix, I doe desire that
Mr. Torett be Satisfied to his Content. As Witnefs my Land this Eight and
Twenty of December 1687 ~

Snow Hill Town June the 9th Anno. Dom. 1688 then appeared before me John
Ohen and Jonathan Towers and made oath upon the holy Evangelists that they
saw the withen named Thomas Osborn sett his hand and seale to the withen
mentioned will and heard him verbally declare the same to be his last will
and testament- The day above mentioned Elizabeth Osborn Executrix withen
named took her oath before me verbatim according to the form thereof- The
day aforesaid John Smeck and Jr. Miller made oath before me well and freely
to appraise the goods and chattles of the testator withen mentioned, given
under my hand, seale and order and appointment of the Honorable Henry
Darnall and Clement Hill Esq. Judges of Probates of Wills Extra [???] the
day and year above mentioned-
