In the Name of God Amen I Samuel Simes now being in perfect sense and memory do by these presents Make this as my last will and testament first I give and bequeath my soul to god whom it doth properly belong. And my body to the earth to receive Christian burriall, Secondly I give and bequeath unto Benjamin Cotman to him and his heirs all my land which lyeth near Nanticoke the which is mentioned by my pattents as also all cattle or goods , tobacco and all moveable and unmoveable as also debts dues and demands, I doe freely and formily, give and bequeath unto the said Benjamin Cotman, my loveing friend, whom I make my whole and sole Executor, the which is my last will and testament to act and do at his pleasure, revoking all other wills or writing making this to be my last legessey, whereunto I by these presents I leave here unto set my hand and seale, this fifth day of January in the year of our lord One thousand six hundred eighty two______ Signed sealed and Delivered Samuell [mark] Simes- Seale In the presents of us___ William [ mark] Robertson Robt.
