In the name of god Amen the 2d day of April in the year of our Lord god, One Thousand Six hundred and Ninety Eight I Robert Cattlen of Somerset County in Maryland being Sick and Weak in body but in perfect Memory, do Make and Ordain this my Last well and Testament, in Manner and form following that is this: first I do bequeth My body t the Earth from Whence it was Taken, and my sole unto into the hands of Almighty god that gave it hoping and Truly beleiving that throug the Merittories patson[????] of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the great day, I shall receive the Sentence com and blessed in herit the Kingdom Prepared for you, and as for the worldly Estate it hath pleased god t bestow upon me I do dispose of as followeth that it is to say when my Lawfull Debts are fully paid and Satisfied and paid Item, first I do give and bequeath unto my Loveing Daughter Sarah Cattling all that Tract or Parcell of Land formily Allinated to my by William Walster. I do give it to her and her heirs for Ever also I do give unto My sd. Sarah Cattling on Iron Pott and one Iron Kettle wth. Pott hooks and hangers. I do also give unto my sd. Daughter Two Boxes. and one sheet and one silk Crape Gown, Which was her Mother in laws. I Do also give my afse. Daughter One Feather bed and bolster one rugg and two Blanketts____ 2nd Item I Do give and bequeath unto my son and heirs William Cattlin all the rest of my Estate, Lands houses, goods and Chattles and Debts and my will is that he my said son and heir shall be at age at Eighteen yrs. old but not to Enjoy or possess his Estate till he comes to Twenty one yr. old also my Will is that Mr. Miles Gray shall be admr.
