In the Name of God Amen this twenty eighth day of March in the year of our lord God 1686 Richard Hill of the County of Somerset being of whole mind and in good and perfect remembrance love and praise be unto almighty God make and ordain this my present testament confessing ______ heaven my last will in manner and for me following that is to say First I commend my soul unto Almighty God maker and redeemer; and my body to be buried in dissorder I will that all such debts and duties as I owe of or confesses to any person or persons be well said time satisfied and paid by my Executors or Executor Willmet Hill and Richard Hill Imprimis I give and b______ unto my well beloved wife Willmet Hill my plantation that where I live on called by the name Husbands Care Item I give and bequeath unto Willmet my wife all my worldly estate viz cattle horses mares moveables or unmoveables of which kind condition or quality leaven they be exsept one gray horse and one young bay hers witt absolute I pretes[??] his fase my said wife to possess and enjoy all my above said estate as above mentioned during her life and after my said wife shall decease or depart this life I will that my sonne Richard Hill shall possess and enjoy the above said plantation and estate which shall be __________ his heirs forever but if the said Richard Hill shall depart this life without issue of his own body lawfully begotten that then I will that the said plantation and estate what shall be found shall return unto William and Ann would h________ or so the heirs of there bodies lawfully begotten this witnesseth ~ the mark of Sealed in the Presence of Us Richard [RH] Hill Senior Jonathon Towns- John [mark] Cobilson Seal These are to certifie the Honorable Collo Henry Daniell and me Clement Mile Eages Judge or Commisay Generall for probate of wills and granting administrations that on Thursday being the 26th day of August Ano 1686 I came before Jonathan Towers and John Colson and made oath that they saw Richard Hill lend [?] deceased signe seal and deliver the will on the other side as his last will and testament is writing my hand and seal the day and year above mentioned James Round Seal The foregoing will Recorded the fourth day of June one thousand eight hundred and eight is under the directions of the Orphans Court of Worcester County in pursuance of an act of the General Assembly of Maryland professed at November session 1807 entitled "An act to provide for Recording written wills in the register office of Worcester County"_____ Matthew Hopkins Reg Wills for Worcester County
