In the name of God Amen I Owen McCragh of Somerset County in the province of Maryland planter being sick and weak of body yet of good and perfect Memory thanks be to god Almighty and knowing the uncertainty of this present Life God make this one last will and Testament in Manner and form following ______ Imprimess I command my soul unto Almighty God who gave it to me hoping and afsuredly believing to receive the full and free pardon of all my sins through the Meritorious blood and pafsion of Jefus Christ my Divnly Saviour and redeemer and my body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buried in a decent and Christian manner ______ I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Owen McCraugh all that Tract of land with plantation Whereon I now live commonly called or known by the Name of Owens choice containing three hundred Acres bounded as by Paten will appear unto him the said Owen and his heirs for Ever and incafe the sd Owen should die without I give then the said land to be enjoyed by the next oldest brother that shall then be living the sd Tract not being to be sold by the said Owen Without the Consent of his brother I leave and bequeath unto my Son William McCragh One parcell of Land called Owens Improvement containing One hundred and fifty Acres unto him the said Wm McCragh and his heirs for ever and incase the sd Wm should die without piece then the sd tract to the Next oldest brother then Living also not to be sold by the sd William without the Consent of his brothers ______ I give and bequeath unto my son John McCragh a Tract of parcell of Land called Owens Delight containing One hundred Acres also another Tract of parcell of Land called Middle containing One hundred Acres bounded as by Patent will appear unto him the sd John McCragh and his heirs for Ever the said Tract not to be sold by the sd John McCragh without the Consent of what brothers shall be then living and in case the said John should died without I jsue then the sd tracts of land to be enjoyed by the next oldest brother then Living ______ I Leave and bequeath unto my sons Richard and David McCragh all that parcell or tract of land called Woolfes Den containing One hundred and Twentie Acres to be Equally devided betwixt them Unto them my sd Sons and their heirs for Ever not to be sold without the Consent of each other and there brothers and in case either of my sd Sons die without jsue then the sd Land to fall to the other and his heirs for ever also it is my Will that all my above sd sons shall be free and at liberty when Eighteen years of Age Notwithstanding shall not enjoy and pofsefs each there respective Tracts while at the age of Twenty Two years ______ I Leave unto my Daughter Mary McCragh One feather bed and furniture there into belonging four pewter dishes and One Great Iron Kettle containing between Twenty and Eight Gallons unto her and her heirs and therewith to be pofsesed the age of fifteen years______ I give unto my sons William and John McCragh to each of them a fun to them and their heirs for Ever ______ I Leave and bequeath unto my Dear and Loving Wife Mary McCragh all the other part of my Estate to her and her Children to be equally devided along them and do hereby Make and Appoint her my Whole and sole Executrix of this my Last will and Testament Disanulling and Making void any other Will or Wills formerly by me made either by Word or Write, also it is my Will and desire that Coll. David Browne and Mr. Roger Woolford be Overseers of this my Last Will and Testament As Witnefs my hand Signed Sealed in the presence of us ______ John Browne His His Richard RC Care Owen III McCragh {Seal} Mark mark Memorandum that this 15th day of March 1692/3 the within written Will was in commo0n form proved by the oaths of John Brown and Richard Carie who were fworn upon the holy Evangelist before me Samll Hopkins Depy Comy Recorded in Liber EB N.5 folio WS and 109 Test Efme Bayly Reg W.S.C.
