Transcription
In the Name of God Amen I Cornelius Johnson of Somersett County in the
Province of Maryland planter being both sick and weak yet in perfect
memory, praise unto Almighty God for it do make this my last Will and
Testament in manner and form following Imprimus I do give and bequeath unto
God my soul form where if came and my body unto the dirt and to be buried
in a dessent Christian like manner ~ Item It is my desire that Mr. William
Jones Jr. and Daniel Jones shall possess my whole and sole Estate both Real
and Personal moveables and Inmoveables after m death and legacys are
complyed with in manner and form following that is to say by an equal
division between the said William Jones Jr. and Daniel Jones shall attain
to the age of eighteen and the said William Jones Jr. to possess while then
and then the said William Jones Jr. to have his choice of both of land and
plantation whereon I now live or any other land whatsoever according to
proportion with the said Daniel Hones as aforesaid to them and their heirs
forever. Item it is my will and desire that William Jones Jr. shall
deliver unto Margaret Jones the daughter of William Jones Jr. on feather
bed and furniture to her and her heirs forever ~ Item it is my will and
desire that the aforesaid Wm. Jones Jr. shall out of my estate maintain
Henry ~ Johnson in meat and drink washing and lodging so long as he shall
live. Item it is my will and desire that the said William Jones Jr. to be
my whole and sole Executor of this my last will and testament denying and
revolting from all other whatsoever bearing date before the date of these
presents as witness my hand and seal this fourteenth day of February
