In the name of God Amen the Twenty Sixth day of June One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety and four I Christopher Reynolds of ye county of Somerset and Province of Maryland being Sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect Memory praise be given to god for the Same And knowing ye uncertainty of this Life on Earth and being desirous to Settle things in order doe make this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and form following, that is to say, first and principally I command my Soul to ye Almighty god my Creator afsuredly believing that I shall receive full pardon and free Remifsion of all my sin and be saved by ye pretious death and Merits of my blefsed Saviour and Redemer Christ Jesus and my body to ye Earth from whence it was taken to be buried in fuch decent manner as to my Executer here after named shall be thought Neet and Convient. And as touching such wordly Estate as ye Lord in mercy hath Lent me, My will and meaning is Exprefsed, and first I revoak and Renounce frustrate and make void all other Wills formely made by me and declare and apoint this my Last Will and Testament ______ Item I constitute order and appoint my dear and well beloved wife Elizabeth Reynolds to be my sole and whole Executrix of all ye Moveables, bills bonds dues debts and demands belonging or any wise apertaining unto me from ye beginning of ye World to this day ______ Item I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Reynolds and to his heirs Lawfully beggotten of his body a parcell of Land called Wintrfeild containing three hundred Acres with all houses orchards Buildings thereunto belonging after ye decease of my wife Elizabeth Reynolds provided She Remains a widow, other whole to return then to my aforesd Son Thomas Reynolds and his heirs for Ever as aforesaid ~ Item I give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth Reynolds and to my son Thos Reynolds all my stock of Cattle and Horses Mares after ye debts are paid then to be Equally devided between them but in ye mean time to remain in his mothers custody while my sd Son is at age ______ Item I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Reynolds my chest as also My pott and pott hooks ______ I order and Appoint John Faucett, Wm Inis and Thomas Morrifs to be overseers of this my Last will and testament with all diserving that they may see the true performance there of and in confirmation were of, I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale ye day and year above written John Faucett His Mark I Earnfare his Mark Christopher WR Reynolds Seale Thos T Willy mark Tho Morris Memorandum that this 21st day of March 1695 probate made of this will by the oaths of John Faucett Tho Willy and Tho Morris who swear that they saw the testater Christopher Reynold Sign and Seale as above and likewise that the saw Isaac Ernsare set too his hand as one Witnefs ______ Witnefs my hand ______ Sam Hopkins Hand.
