CATLIN FAMILY GRAVEYARD
This was found and recorded by cousins Paul Willing and Ralph Willing on 5 Aug 2002. Thanks again to the Misters Willing! It is on the south side Capitola Road, 1/4 mile southeast of Route 349 (Nanticoke Road), on the north side of an overgrown lane leading into the woods, approximately 800 feet. Paul's GPS location reading was 38° 17' 58" N ~ 75° 50' 36" W.

Virginia S. A. Catlin, dau. of William and Elizabeth A. C. Catlin, d. Jan 24, 1856, aged 7 years
Another grave caved in with vault/coffin collapsed. No marker - unidentifiable
A Granville Catlin is mentioned in the booklet, The United Methodist Church at Whitehaven 1892-1992 by David and Doris Scott. It says that, in 1891, Mrs. Elizabeth Catlin give a 1/4 acre plot for $2 at the edge of town for the erection of a new church bldg. "The trustees included her son, Granville Catlin . . . "
