Byrd Family Graveyard

(Salisbury District #9)

The Byrd family graveyard is located in Salisbury on the East side of West Road approximately ¼ mile North of the West Salisbury Elementary School. Drive North to Jaqulene Drive and turn right. Drive to the first bend in the road. The graveyard is located in a small stand of trees behind the houses on the left side of the road, about 50 yards from the street.

The graveyard was overgrown and has a number of fallen trees. Most of the headstones have fallen. The survey was done by William H. Byrd and his son William on February 16, 2001 with the help of a list provided in the book Graveyards and Gravestones of Wicomico County by Jacobs.
