SAMUEL WESLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH CEMETERY
Transcription generously provided by Delphine Steficek. It is one of six cemeteries she gathered headstone information from between Maryland and Georgia, while vacationing. Thanks very much, Delphine!
Delphine gives the following information:The Samuel Wesley cemetery is located on Rt. 361 in Manokin. The land is flat and floods with frequent rains. The cemetery is fairly well
maintained, but weather conditions have destroyed some grave vaults. There
are many unmarked and unreadable graves here. Many of the graves have sunk
completely out of sight.
Directions: Rt. 13 south from Salisbury, to Rt. 413 to Crisfield. Turn
Right onto Rt. 361 to Manokin. Church is on the left.
I will start at the rear of the property, closest to the dirt lane and
proceed toward the church.
