Am looking for information on Ralph O. ELLIOTT born 1883 in Maryland and married to Mamie (last name unknown) around 1906. They had the following children: Ralph O. Jr., Homer Jacob and Virginia. In 1910 the family is living in Deal Island, Somerset Co., MD and Ralph Sr.'s name is listed as Alby. In 1920 the family is living in Capeville District, Northampton Co., VA and Ralph Sr.'s name is listed as Aubry. Homer Jacob married Elizabeth Bennett. Any information on this family would be appreciated.

I am looking for ancestors of family of George C. SOMERS and Cecile (Cecie) HOWARD Somers. Her parents names were William and Maggie HOWARD and his were James and Priscilla MORGAN Somers. George C. Somers had a sister named Josephine Somers Byrd and a brother named Clarence Somers. George C. passed in 1954 and Cecile passed in 1967. Their children's names were Agnes, Frank, Dorothy, and Freddie. They all lived in Crisfield, Md., Somerset County.

Looking for any info on William BALLARD, born c. 1820, possibly in Somerset County. He is listed in 1850 census for Union County, AR and gives his place of birth as Maryland.

I had known that my GG Grandfather, William LANKFORD of Princess Anne, was dishonorably discharged from the Union Army. I recently found out that the majority of the members of Company K, 1st Regiment of the Eastern Shore Infantry were discharged dishonorably. They did not desert, so what happened? All the dishonorable discharges were dated July 2, 1863, the second day of the Battle of Gettysburg. It seems strange that there would be so many dishonorables in one company at a famous battle and no one should leave a record of same. Did they flee or retreat against orders? Get drunk the night before? Would appreciate it if anyone could shed light on this.
