In the Name of God Amen I Juelin Mezick of Somerset County in ye Province of Maryland planter. Being in good health of body and of sound and perfect memory praised be almighty God do make Constitute & Ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form following (viz) first and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God, hoping this the merits Death & Passion of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgiveness for all my sins and to Inherit everlasting life and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at ye discretion of my Executrix hereafter named. And as touching the disposition of all such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth -- First I will that my Debts and funeral charges shall be paid and Discharged. Item, I give and bequeath unto my Loving Wife Priscilla Mezick my Horse plow and Harrow as a legacie to her & her heirs for ever. Item I further give and bequeath unto my Loving Wife Priscilla Mezick two feather beds with their Furniture to her and her heirs for ever. Item I give and bequeath unto my Eldest son Nehemiah Mezick the Trundle Bed and bedstead with ye rest of its Furniture, to him and his heirs for ever. Item I further give and bequeath unto my Eldest Son Nehemiah Mezick the largest puter Dish, belonging to my Estate to him & his heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my Loving Wife Priscilla Mezick one large Iron Ptt containing ten gallons to her and her heirs for ever. Item I give and bequeath unto my three sons (viz) Jno. Mezick, Jacob Mezick, and Joshua Mezick one shilling per piece and no more, to them and their heirs forever. Item All the rest and residue of my personal Estate as goods or Chattles &c I give and bequeath to be equally divided between my wifes six Children (viz) Joseph Mezick, Isaac Mezick, Benjamin Mezick, Juelin Mezick, Sarah Mezick and Mary Mezick, to them and their heirs for ever. Item my will and desire is, that if my wife be disposed to part with any of her Children, that she dispose of my son Isaac Mezick to my Loving Brother Roger Nicholson to live with him, untill he arrive at the age of eighteen years. Item my will is that if my wife remain a widdow the boys (viz) Joseph, Isaac, Benj. And Juellin remain with her untill they arrive at the age of twenty one years, but if she marry that they be free at ye age of eighteen years. Item my will and desire is, that my well beloved Wife Priscilla Mezick be Executrix of this my last will and Testament hereby Disavowing and making void all other wills by me made either by word or writing. In Testimoney whereof I the said Juellin Mezick to this my last will and Testament being contained in one Sheet of paper do set my hand and seal this 6th day of January Annoq Dom 1715/16.

Juno ye 28th 1718 Came before me Francis Langcake and David Evans in their proper persons & made Oath upon the holy Evangellist that they saw the Testator sign & declare ye Above Instrument as his last will & Testament & that he published pronounced & declared ye same so to be and that at the time of his so doing he was of sound & perfect mind & memory to ye best of their knowledge.
