KYLER

skeexixTue, 27 Oct 1998 14:37:38 -0500 George KYLER, is said to have lived in then Carroll Co. MD, in late 1700's. Possibly married 4 times; he moved from MD to PA, unsure of date. Believed to have had large family. I am interested in data on any, but especially on his sons. I have been given names of 4 sons as: George Jr., James, Benjamin, and Daniel (said b in 1804). I am trying to find ancestry of my greatgrandfather, J. Henry KYLER (b 1850 possibly in PA, d 6/14/1914 at Cassville, (Huntingdon Co.) PA. (the J is for John or Jacob - he was called by both, my mother (his granddaughter) said) I will gladly share what I have from J. Henry KYLER to today. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me to find J. Henry Kyler's ancestors.

DERR

LouiseMon, 19 Oct 1998 11:51:05 -0600 I would like to be placed in the list and get any DERR replies. I continue to add to the database and if I have information which can be shared, I am happy to do so. I have looked for a SYKES in my database and nothing. I do have a James Marsh Derr but his parents were Joseph Yentzer Derr and Mary Jane Kremer. Is it possible that Sarah was on her second husband and therefore didn't have the SYKES last name when she married a DERR? I do have several SARAH's with no last name in my database and it is possible that one of them is your SARAH. I will let you know if I learn anymore. Louise

BEACHTEL/BECHTEL JESSEE KIRKHOFF MILLER PAYNE

K. FlynnMon, 19 Oct 1998 14:27:15 -0000 Hi, I am new to this so I am not sure I am doing this right. I hope I am. I am looking for an area in (I think) Carroll County, called the "Ohio" in the Myers District? The deed I have says that and the date is about 1915 - 20. This is from a deed of Howard L. BEACHTEL/BECHTEL and Lillie May Beachtel (Bechtel), his wife. The date on the deed is 1916. Any clues as to where this area is located will be helpful. Thanks. always searching for: BECHTEL JESSEE KIRKHOFF MILLER PAYNE Kathy Flynn
