Polly's mother was Anne M. FOLTZ b. 1785. In the 1850 census for Carroll County Michael and Mary were living with Isadora and sister Elizabeth b. 1837 next door to the mother and John Foltz b. 1822 and family. Trudie avis-Long Thu, 16 Jul 1998 17:17:26 -0700 hi sue Lantz, RICHARDSON: James W LANTZ married Mary Jane Richardson in Carroll Co, MD. as his second wife. He died in 1892. She died in 1910 and her daughter settled the estate without benefit of probate-much to my horror and adding to my difficulty finding information on the family and business. There seems something hush-hush about the relationship of Mary Jane and the other Richardson family members [her obituary says she is related to the prominent Richardson family and she is the sister of James Richardson], but there is no further information.
