Children of Jacob and Elizabeth were Henry, Catharine, Mary, Eliza, Elizabeth, Amanda, Sophia, Jacob, and Ellen. Son Jacob married Mary E, and immigrated to Frederick Co, MD by 1880. Jacob and Mary's son Charles E. is gg-grandfather. Charles E. BURNS immigrated to Montgomery Co, OH and married Vinnie HOLDERMAN.

They are burried in Oak Orchard and had several children including Eve CRUMPACKER, Henry, and Elizabeth Baker ARTER. They were in Carroll Co, at the time Fred Co, by 1776. Would appreciate any information.

Had 14 children: Cornelius, Henry, Andrew, Jesse, Beal, John A., James, Mary R., Elyzabeth A., Lydia, Francina, Sarah, Zephalynda and Thomas. Moved his family to Ohio in 1846. Eventually settled in Adams Co., ILL. I am seeking information about his parents. I believe his father was one of two brothers who came over from England in the 1700's. Brenda Hickman Thu, 09 Apr 1998 20:37:23 -0500 Have old German text book of my Grandfather, Adam Harry JONES It says he was born in Myers District, Carroll County, MD January 19, 1861. Have been unable to find official birth record and was told that the birth would be registered in Church records. I have no idea what churches are in the area.
