Am researching Peter and Elizabeth (?) Wetzel Peter was born approx 1769 and Elizabeth b: 26 Aug 1769. I found them listed in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Baptizmal Records from the dates of 1792-1795. Their first two children, Elizabeth and George Wetzel were born in MD during this time. Mary, John Frederick, Samuel, Anna, Sophia, Michael, Peter and Jesse were all born in Wythe Co. VA. I believe that Peter and Elizabeth had lived in Washington Co. MD prior to this where they were probably married. I will share information that I have also.

He died in 1789 and his will named the following Children: Adam WERNER (Prime heir); Nicholas WERNER/VARNER (My ancestor); Jacob WERNER; Henry WERNER; Elizabeth (married a LONG); Catherine WERNER; Anna Marie WERNER; & Mary WERNER. Christophel is thought to be the son of Hans Adam WARNER of Germany Twp. York Co. PA. The wife of Christophel (named in will) was Charlotte. Nicholas WERNER is beleived to have married Barbara HILDEBRAND.
