Looking for parents and siblings of Isaac WINTER (born 22 Mar 1821 in MD and raised "at Linwood" in Carroll Co) and his wife Ellen BILLENGER. He was a miller in MD and he and his wife and young son Edgar Theodore moved to IA in about 1860.

BARNES, Charles Franklin born in Dec 1863 in Carroll Co., MD Charles Franklin became a Railroad Engineer. He married Priscilla WHITE (born in Howard Co., MD -Oct 1865) in 1890 in Baltimore, MD. They moved to Washington, D.C. in the 1890's. Charles had a brother named Albert BARNES. Specifically, I need the names of Charles Franklin's parents. Looking for information on the following two families; Solomon P. FOX b. 4/9/1825 d. 4/3/1889 m. Emily Jane STULTZ b. 1/9/1826 or 1829 in Union Bridge, Carroll County MD, d. 4/27/1894 : Father of Emily was Henry STULTZ m. Matilda CRABBE. Solomon FOX and family moved to Ohio in 1861 (approx.) Solomon had a brother named Henry who moved to Ohio as well. Any help or info greatly appreciated.

To: Julia Stuart I have also been researching the SULLIVAN family. My husband's and my lines are through Margaret BOHN-BOON & Leonard POWDER-POUDER. I found much of my info from 2 articles: "The German Bohne-Bohn-Boon- Boone Family, Descendants of Johann Diel Bohne of MD 1711-1764" by Nellie (Woods) Whedon and "The Sullivan Family of MD, Descendants of Cornelius Sullivan (1749-1816) and Catherine (Bohn-Boon) Sullivan (1753- 1824) of Carroll Co." by the same author. They are both available at the historical Society of Carroll Co., MD 210 E. Main St., Westminster, MD. Updated version is by Richard H. Ott. Let me know if I can be of any more help.
