GRIFFITH, CROZIER; I am searching for any information on either
of these 2 surnames. Specifically I am looking for any information
on Philip GRIFFITH, b.1779, and Elizabeth CROZIER, b.1784; These 2
were both born in Maryland, and married 1803 @ Steubenville, OH.
I do know there was a Philip GRIFFITH in Frederick Co, MD in the
late 1700s, but I cannot make the connection to my own Philip
GRIFFITH. Can anyone tell me if they have details on these people?
Or could you foreward my notes to anyone who might have leads.

CROZIER; Searching for family of Elizabeth CROZIER (CROSIER?),
b.1784, somewhere in Maryland. I once thought this name originated
in France, but recently have been told is Irish. I can find CROZIER
names in Maryland in the late 1700s, but I cannot find connections to
my Elizabeth. I am certain she migrated to Eastern Ohio by 1803, as
she was married in Steubenville, OH to Philip GRIFFITH in 1803.
Can anyone write me or foreward my notes on to any possible contacts.

BISH- seeking information on the Bish family. Five brothers, Peter,
George, John, Jacob and Phillip Bish show up in the 1810-1820 census of
Armstrong County, Pa. jome say they were born in PA , but all evidence
points to Maryland birth. Peter married a Mary Elizabeth TIETS, TTITUS
who says in the 1860 census that she was born in Maryland.
Looking for the surname of Leister. Specifically, John Peter. In 1977, I
was informed that there are a lot of notebook binders prepared on the

Frederick Co. Md. m.William Mort 10-Sep-1850. Trying to find her
Parents. Beleive she to been related to Benjamin Cain b.20-Sep-1813
d.13-Jan-1895. Benjamin had a wife Mary b.1820 d.1897. Both families
seemed to reside in same close dwellings. Have not been able to locate
any Obits. (Emmitsburg Papers do not seem to be available for 1895.
If related, who were Benjamin's parents? Resided in both Frederick
and Carrol Cos.
Hi: Seeking ancestry and descendants of Lloyd BROWN, b ca 1810 in MD
(Hampstead, Carroll Co?), a miller who later lived in PA, OH and finally
IN. I've found a Lloyd BROWN b 1811 s/o John and Susannah BROWN, Lloyd's
siblings Jesse, Noah, George, Ann and Mary Ann Catherine. They were
connected to the Reformed and Lutheran Church, Manchester. Any

Elizabeth was b. 1816 in KY. Her father was James CISSELL.
I believe James CISSELL's wife's name was Eliza. I do not have
a maiden name
I believe George WATHEN's mothers first name was Martha Ann.
George WATHEN died in 1889 in Union Co, KY. His wife Elizabeth
CISSELL died in 1895 in Union Co, KY.

Adelsperger and Catherine around 1780-1785. Also, a marriage for
John Adelsperger (born 15-Jan-1785) & Margaret Weibel (born 1784)

I'm looking for any information about my great grandfather James
Bateman Riggs and his brother William Riggs. I have reason to
believe that J. B. Riggs was born in the 1840s and it may have
been in Maryland. I'm trying to determine his exact birthdate and
identify his parents (possibly a Riggs-Bateman marriage?). Both
Riggs boys ended up in Delaware by 1870. JBR moved to Philadelphia
in the early 1870s.

I have been researching line of John Ecker, Sr. b. May 2, 1747; d. 1821
near New Windsor Maryland. We believe he was born in Chester County,
Pennsylavania. His father's name may be Christopher Ecker, b. in Germany
and died in 1747 in Coventry Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. One
researcher has connected them as being father and son. I would like to
know what documents exist that connect them together.
Also, was Christopher Ecker a Mennonite by birth or was he a member of
