BANKNELL / BIANCANIELLO / MC DONNELL I am searching for information on my paternal grandmother's family. She was born and raised in Baltimore and her father had a large livery stable there. I thought I would start with her marriage certificate and that of my grandfather since they were married in Balto.- to get her parents' names. My grandfather was Louis D. Banknell or Biancaniello (changed when he came to US). Her name was Laura A. McDonnell. I don't know the date they were married but it had to have been the first quarter of the century, since my Dad was born in 1925 and he had older siblings. Any help or advice would be appreciated. LYNCH / RISTON My husband & I are beginning to research his family and have found that his great-granddad was married in Baltimore on June 13, 1861. The family Bible says: "Peter Lynch & Virginia Riston married June13, 1861, Baltimore, Maryland by Reverend R. Dixon." According to the family Bible Peter Lynch was born Jan. 20, 1832 in Mullingar, Ireland, and Virginia Riston was born Aug 31, 1843 in Alexandria, VA. With the loss of so many records in the Civil War, her birth records are quite likely gone. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated and we would be happy to share any information we have that might be helpful to you. Rochelle Lillig
