IN MEMORIAM
1927

Baltimore Sun, Sunday September 25, 1927

BEAN- In loving remembrance of our dear husband and father, JOHN B>  BEAN. Company B. 313th Infantry, who was killed in France nine years ago, September 26, 1918.
Just when your life was brightest,
Just when your years were best.
You were called from this world of Sorrow
To a home of eternal rest.
Some may think that I forget you,
Though you are on earth no more,
But in memory you are with me
As you always were before.
      BY HIS WIFE
You are not forgotten, father, dear
Nor will you ever be;
As long as life and memory lasts
I will remember thee
BY HIS ONLY SON, GEORGE

BOWMAN- In sad and loving remembrance of my only and dear daughter, MARIE, who passed away one year ago, September 28, 1926.
Over the beautiful hills of Bonnie
Brae lies the one I loved so dear.  God
called her home; He thought it best, Thy will be done
BY HER LONELY MOTHER

No one knows, when I sit alone, Marie,
How I grieve for you;
Your heart was true, your life was young;
You left a loneliness in our home forever.
     AUTN MARY

Today my heart is lonely and sad,
My thought are all of you, Marie.
How I loved and how I miss you,
None but God in heaven can tell.
    COUSIN ALICE

BOWMAN- In loving rememberance of our dear pal, Marie C., who departed this life September 28, 1926
We listen in vain for the hurrying steps
And the sound of the Voice we miss.
We long for a touch of a vanished had
And her smile full of cheer and bliss.

We long for her songs that were bright and gay;
We long and we grieve and we can't believe
Our dear pal has passed away.
BY FREDA AND BABY PEGGY

BYUS, - In loving remembrance of my dear husband, THOMAS W. BYUS,
who departed this life September 25, 1919
God took ou from our home, dear father
But never from our heart.
BY WIFE AND SON

CRISPENS, - CORP. HOWARD E., who was killed in France on September 26, 1918.
Just when your life was brightest,
Just when your years were best,
You were called from this world of sorrow
To a home of eternal rest.
BY HIS SISTERS

CHRISTOPHER.-  In loving memory of wife and mother, ELLA, who entered into rest one year ago, September 22, 1926.
On the resurrection morning,
Soul and body meed again;
No more sorrow, no more weeping,
Nor more pain.
Here awhile they must be paired,
And the flesh is sabbath keep;
Waiting in a holy stillness,
Wrapt in sleep.
(there was more but my page ended)
