 McGOWAN - On January 1, after a lingering illness, James J. McGowan, son of Mary and the late John McGowan. May he rest in peace. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral from his late residence, No. 1? Holland street, on tomorrow (Saturday) morning, at half-past eight o'clock, thence to Saint Vincent's Church where a Mass of Requiem will be offered for the repose of his soul. 

O'NEAL - On the morning of January 1, Juliet, the beloved wife of Samuel S. O'Neal and the third daughter of Mary A. and the late John B. O'Donnell. May she rest in peace.  BROWN - On October 30, Margaret Brown, aged 60 years, beloved wife of John T. Brown. Her funeral will take place from the residence of her son-in-law, David Bear(Bean?), Frederick county, Md., on this (Friday) morning.

 HUNTER - On Wednesday, 29th of October, 1879, Susan, aged 6 years 10 months and 19 days, only and beloved daughter of Julia A. and Jerome Hunter. TO SUSIE HUNTER, BY HER GRANDFATHER, R.S.H. A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is still'd; A place is vacant in our home Which never can be filled. You'll bury me, dear parents, beneath the hawthorn shade, And you'll sometimes come and see me, where I am lowly laid; I shall not forget you, dear parents, when you pass, With your feet above my head, in the long and pleasant grass. Oh, I will come again, dear parents, from out my resting place, Though you'll not see me, dear parents, I shall look upon your face; Though I cannot speak a word, I shall hearken what you say, And be often with you when you think I am far away. JOHNSON - On October 29, 1879, Cecilia Johnson, aged 32 years, beloved wife of Charles JOhnson, and eldest daughter of J.H.C. Thirkel. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral, from her late residence, on this (Friday) morning, at ten o'clock.

 MURPHY - At Woodberry, on 30th October, Mrs. Ellen Murphy, in the 63d year of her age, widow of the late Peter Murphy, a native of the county of Monaghan, Ireland. May she rest in peace. Her funeral will take place from Saint Thomas's Church, Woodberry, to-morrow (Saturday) morning, at nine o'clock. 

SCHULZ - On 29th of Octber, Louis Schuylz, in the 28th year of his age. He leaves a wife and two children. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral, from his late residence, No. 61 Druid Hill avenue, this (Friday) afternoon, at half-past one o'clock. His funeral sermon will be preached in Saint Paul's German Lutheran Church, corner of Saratoga and Fremont streets.

years, the beloved daughter of William and the late Fanny Roach. May
