My husband's Dawson family is from Talbot Co.  We're having difficulty
verifying this photo found in the home after the death of his parents. We're
about 90% sure it's the mother of Charles Dawson.  Charles was his
g-grandfather and the only one to leave Maryland.  His mother was Sarah
Smith Dawson, wife of William Dawson.  They lived in Sherwood on the Dawson
Farm and at Smith Point Farm.  They are both buried in the small family
cemetery at Smith Point Farm, and their headstone still stands.  We made a
trip to MD last month to verify that the headstones and cemetery were still
there.

I would appreciate your help in posting this photograph so that hopefully
someone can help verify who this woman is.
