The Research Library of the Genealogical Society of Allegany County, Maryland, is located in the Appalachian Collection of the Library at Allegany College of Maryland, 12401 Willowbrook Road, Cumberland, MD. Click here for directions.
Hours are: Monday, 10AM-4PM (may be later); Wednesday, 1PM-4PM; Thursday & Friday, 10AM-2PM; second & fourth Saturday 11:30AM-4:00PM (when the library is open).
The library is open year around but is closed on legal holidays and in inclement weather (winter), and when ACM is closed for various college breaks. If traveling a distance, it is wise to call ahead.
